1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Unicore (the “App”), a privacy-first AI client for macOS.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

Unicore is a macOS application that allows users to connect to third-party AI providers using their own API keys and optionally use locally hosted AI models.

Unicore:

  • Does not provide its own AI models

  • Does not host user prompts on its servers

  • Acts as a client interface between the user and selected AI providers

You are solely responsible for obtaining and managing API access from third-party providers.

3. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)

• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms

By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

  • Comply with the terms of any third-party AI providers you connect to

  • Keep your API keys secure

  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or misuse the App

You are solely responsible for:

  • The content of prompts you submit

  • The outputs generated by third-party AI providers

  • Any consequences resulting from your use of AI-generated content

5. Third-Party Services

The App enables access to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI or Anthropic).

Unicore:

  • Does not control these services

  • Is not responsible for their availability

  • Is not responsible for their output

  • Does not guarantee accuracy, reliability, or legality of generated content

Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

6. No Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose

  • Non-infringement

  • Accuracy or reliability of AI-generated outputs

  • Continuous or error-free operation

AI systems can produce inaccurate, misleading, or offensive content. You use the App at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unicore and its creators shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of data

  • Loss of profits

  • Business interruption

  • Decisions made based on AI-generated output

In no event shall total liability exceed the amount paid for the App (if any).

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App (excluding third-party services) remain the property of its creator(s).

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or internal business purposes.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, or resell the App

  • Create derivative works

  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices

9. Updates and Changes

We may:

  • Modify the App

  • Add or remove features

  • Update these Terms

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Italy.
